The B.O.T. Educational Programs Committee voted to approve the Administration’s recommendations and move forward with the proposed department deletions including the UCF MIS Department. We are proposing to the BOT a department merger similiar to FSU has done with their general management degree. More information can be found on the FSU MIS website http://cob.fsu.edu/mis/.
We still need everyone to continue to reach out to the Board of Trustees (BOT) in anyway possible, the final hearing for the proposed program deletions to be finalized is on July 23. We hope to build a bond with the UCF MISA in the next upcoming months to maintain a strong MIS presence in the central florida area for years to come. Good luck everyone and please continue to show your support for the UCF MIS Department.
